STAT OF THE DAY: On Thursday, the Shorebirds will enjoy their first scheduled off day since May 9. Tonight will be the 27th game in the last 27 days without a scheduled off day. The Shorebirds have had two nights without games due to weather.

PREVIEW: The Power edged the Shorebirds 5-4 in the series opener heading into game two of a three game set. The Shorebirds have lost three straight and 10 of their last 11 games. With 13 games left in the first half of the season, the Shorebirds are 18.5 games out of first place.

DELMONICO'S AN ALL-STAR: On Tuesday morning, Nicky Delmonico was named the starting first baseman for the Northern Division in the SAL All-Star Game on June 19 in Charleston, South Carolina. Delmonico is the only Shorebirds player representative. He leads the team in several major statistical categories including: hits (53), RBIs (33), total bases (83), doubles (15) and home runs (5). Delmonico had a 20-game on-base streak earlier this season between April 17 and May 15 when he batted .338.

DOMINANT DEVIN: Devin Jones came out of the bullpen last night and tossed three scoreless innings to lower his ERA to 2.29, the lowest of any Shorebirds pitcher with more than 10 innings pitched. In his last four outings (9.1 innings), he has surrendered just one run. Jones has 11 strikeouts during the stretch.

NARRON PRODUCING RUNS: Connor Narron has six RBIs in his last three games including a flare two-run single in the sixth inning last night. In 22 games in the month of May, Narron had four total RBIs. He has six RBIs through four games in June.

FALLING BEHIND: The Shorebirds have been outscored 34-3 in the first four innings over the last five games. Last night, the Power led 5-1 after four full innings.

PLANETA'S 5-GAMER: Mikey Planeta hit safely in five straight games (7-for-21, .333). His season long hit streak is eight, accomplished between April 14 and May, during two separate stints with the club.
