Augusta GreenJackets News Release

Augusta, GA - South Atlantic League leading closer Cody Hall has been selected to represent the Augusta GreenJackets at the league's All-Star Game on Tuesday June 19th at 7:35 p.m. at Joseph P. Riley Park in Charleston, South Carolina - the home of the host Charleston RiverDogs.

Currently on the disabled list with an oblique strain, Hall has anchored a bullpen that for much of the season has been the strength of the GreenJackets. Hall's ten saves are tied for the most in the league coming into play today. In 19.1 innings, Hall is 1-0 with a 2.33 ERA and 29 strikeouts.

The Southern Division will be managed by Charleston manager Carlos Mendoza, with his RiverDogs coaching staff - Greg Colbrunn, Brian Baisley and Danny Borrell - serving as his coaches during the All-Star festivities. The Northern Division will be managed by Dave Berg of the Greensboro Grasshoppers. His coaching staff will consist of Hagerstown manager Brian Daubach and Greensboro coach Blake McGinley.

Greensboro starting pitcher and South Atlantic League ERA leader Jose Fernandez will be the starting pitcher for the Northern Division. Mike Foltynewicz of the Lexington Legends, tied for the league lead in wins with seven, will start on the mound for the Southern Division. Charleston catcher Gary Sanchez was the leading vote-getter for either division.
