Sens Acquire Beaudin from Colorado

The Ottawa Senators announced today that the club has acquired forward Jean-Christophe (J.C.) Beaudin from the Colorado Avalanche in exchange for forward Max McCormick. Beaudin will be assigned to the Senators' American Hockey League affiliate in Belleville.

Beaudin, 21, has six goals and seven assists in 42 AHL games with the Colorado Eagles this season. The 6-2, 187-pound native of Longueuil, Que., was Colorado's third-round choice (71st overall) in the 2015 NHL Draft.

He claimed the QMJHL title in 2015-16 with the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies and was part of the Eagles' Kelly Cup winning team last year in the ECHL before they became an AHL team at the start of this season.

Belleville is back in action Friday against Laval and return home the following night to host the Rocket. Tickets are available.
