Roadrunners 'Painted Fan of the Game' Starts February 23

TUCSON, AZ - The Tucson Roadrunners, proud American Hockey League affiliate of the Arizona Coyotes, announce a new promotion for the club's playoff push today encouraging fans to engage in the spirit of the Roadrunners.

The "Tucson Roadrunners Painted Fan of the Game" will allow fans to display their passion for the club and get rewarded with free tickets to every home game!

Beginning 90 minutes before faceoff, participants should paint their body and/or face and arrive on the plaza located outside the box office of the Tucson Convention Center. Up to four (4) tickets will be distributed to the fan or fans that display the most creativity and spirit.

Contest Rules

Men must paint their face and/or upper-body (front only)

Women must paint their face

Paint on both parties must remain all game

All tickets are subject to availability.

Tips For Applying Paint

Use soft brushes, makeup sponges, cotton swabs or paper towels

Use warm water to help thin and mix colors

Test before using to prevent any potential allergic reactions

Keep away from your eyes

Use rubbing alcohol or alcohol wipes to loosen paint before taking off with soap and water

On-The-Ice

The 23-14-4-1 Tucson Roadrunners now hit the road for the team's annual "Gem Show Road Trip", which will see them play six consecutive road games between February 8 and February 20.

Forward Lane Pederson had three points for the club over the weekend, now placing him in a tie for third place in team scoring with 12 goals, 14 assists, totaling 26 points.
