ENTERING TONIGHT'S ACTION... Tonight, the SeaWolves look to get back to the .500 mark and look for their second consecutive win as they take on the Akron Aeros (Cleveland Indians) in the first of a three-game series at Canal Park. The ‘Wolves outslugged Harrisburg on Monday afternoon to pull to a game below .500 and pick up a series split with the Senators. The ‘Wolves are in a fourth place tie with Harrisburg, eight games behind first place Altoona and two games behind second place Richmond...Tonight marks the first of three trips for the ‘Wolves into Akron. Erie took two of three from the Aeros May 10-12 at home. The Aeros are 5-5 in their last 10 games and sit in last place in the division, nine games under .500...Tonight, righty Brooks Brown takes the mound for the ‘Wolves making his 13th appearance and third start of the season. His last start came on May 27 in Trenton in a game that was suspended in the fourth inning with no score. Brown's lone appearance against the Aeros came in relief on May 12 and he picked up a win going 3.1 scoreless..Lefty Nick Hagadone takes the mound for the Aeros. Hagadone is making his Akron debut. In 10 starts with Class-A Kinston, Hagadone was 1-3 with a 2.39 ERA. In his last start against Potomac on May 26, he went five shutout innings, allowing one hit with three walks and six strikeouts. Hagadone was acquired by the Indians in the Victor Martinez trade with Boston...Erie has lost 10 of its last 12 games since taking over first place in the division on May 19. TODAY'S NOTABLES -

- Erie leads the season series over Akron 2-1. The SeaWolves and Aeros meet 22 times in 2010.

- Defensively, the ‘Wolves have committed 53 errors on the season, the second- most in the EL.

- The SeaWolves are sixth in the league with a 4.12 team ERA. The Aeros are last in the EL with a 4.93 team ERA.

- The SeaWolves are tied for ninth in the league with a .244 team batting average. Akron is third in the league, hitting .266 as a team.

- Erie has connected on 57 home runs which is the most by team in the league this season.

- Audy Ciriaco has three home runs in his last four games since returning from 13 days of rest with wrist soreness.

- The SeaWolves are third in the EL with 53 stolen bases. - The ‘Wolves are 13-14 on the road.

- Michael Bertram has hit safely in 31 of his last 35 games.

- Andy Dirks leads all league outfielders with 12 assists.

- Wilkin Ramirez leads the EL with 14 home runs and is second with 39 RBI and 104 total bases. Ramirez also tops the league with 73 strikeouts.

- After a 13-5 start to the month of May, the Howlers finished the month with a 15-15 record.
