SeaWolves Come from Behind, Win Fourth Straight

The SeaWolves staged another thrilling comeback on Thursday night at FNB Field as the took down the Harrisburg Senators 7-6 to win their fourth consecutive game.
The Senators jumped ahead in the first inning on Erie starter Reese Olson. Jack Dunn led off, reached on a Gage Workman error and stole second. Jake Alu singled to right and Dunn scored on a Daniel Cabrera error for a 1-0 lead.
Erie took the lead in the third against Harrisburg starter Jake Irvin. Luis Carpio led off with a double and moved to third on a Cabrera groundout. Andre Lipcius lined a double to right, plating Carpio, tying the game. Wenceel Perez was then hit by a pitch putting a pair on for Quincy Nieporte. Nieporte singled home both runners for a 3-1 lead.
Harrisburg regained the lead in the fourth. Wilson Garica led off with a solo home run to right, trimming the lead down to a run. Justin Connell doubled and Brady Lindsly homered to right for a 4-3 Senators edge.
The Senators added to the lead in the fifth. John Nogowski walked with two outs and Garica doubled, putting runners on second and third. Connell doubled home both for a 6-3 lead.
Olson was finished after five innings, allowing a season-high six runs, five earned, on seven hits with two walks and seven strikeouts in a no-decision effort.
Erie got one back in the top of the sixth. Perez led off with a double and moved to third on a passed ball. He scored on a Dane Myers groundout, making it a two-run game.
Irvin would exit with a lead after six strong innings, allowing four runs, three earned, on four hits with two walks and five strikeouts. He also took a no-decision.
The SeaWolves regained the lead against Senators reliever Andrew Lee in the seventh. Eric De La Rosa led off with a triple off the wall in center. Chris Rabago followed with a walk and moved to second on a wild pitch. Carpio lifted a sacrifice fly to right, scoring De La Rosa making it a one-run game. Lee then issued a two-out walk to Lipcius, putting the go-ahead run on base for Perez. Perez came through with his second double in as many at-bats, scoring both Rabago and Lipcius for a 7-6 lead.
Erie summoned Gerson Moreno for the ninth. He retired the first batter before hitting Gilbert Lara, putting the tying run on base. Dunn then singled, putting runners on the corners for Alu. Moreno induced a 3-6-3 game-ending double play, earning his fourth save and second of the series.
Reliever Adam Wolf (4-2) earned the win for Erie tossing two scoreless frames in relief of Olson. He allowed two hits with no walks and two strikeouts.
Lee (2-2) took the loss for Harrisburg allowing three runs on two hits with two walks and two strikeouts. It was the first runs allowed by Lee since May 24. He had thrown seven consecutive scoreless appearances.
