
SeaWolves Announce First Ever Dance Team Contest

(Erie, PA) - Do you think your dance team has what it takes to sashay its way to being the best dance team in Erie' Here's your big chance to compete at Jerry Uht Park!
The SeaWolves will host their first ever Dance Team Contest on Thursday, June 30, when the 'Wolves take on the Akron Aeros (Cleveland Indians) at 7:05 PM. Up to five area dance squads will compete during the game, and each will have one minute and thirty seconds to show SeaWolves fans why their team is best.
Fans can vote for their favorite participating team in person at the game or on Facebook. Voting will end at the 7th inning stretch. The winning dance team will receive passes for 20 to Family First Sports Park.
The first five local dance teams, squads or studios to purchase 10 or more regularly priced SeaWolves tickets to the June 30 game will be eligible to compete. Tickets are $7-$10 each, and participating organizations may be eligible to purchase specially priced tickets to resell as a fundraiser for their team, squad or studio. Teams will have the opportunity to rehearse at the ballpark prior to the event. No team will be permitted to enter the contest after June 21, 2011.
