Season Wraps Up

3 To End: The Tulsa Oilers conclude the 2007-08 season this week with three games. They host the Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs Tuesday at 7:05 p.m.; wrap up the home portion of the regular season, Friday against the Rocky Mountain Rage at 7:35 p.m. and conclude the season at Wichita Saturday at 7:05 p.m.

Split Week: After dropping a 6-2 decision at Amarillo on Tuesday, and a 5-2 game to Mississippi on Friday, the Oilers responded with two road victories last week. They won 4-3 at Colorado Saturday and 3-2 at Rocky Mountain Sunday.

Hot Mags-ma: Right winger Kai Magnussen has scored goal in three straight games, with four goals in that span. He has a five game point streak (4G, 3A). Magnussen had the game winning goal on Sunday, his 20^th goal of the season.

At Long Last: Defenseman Arthur Kiyaga scored his first professional goal on Saturday, and it turned out to be the game winning goal in the victory over Colorado. Kiyaga's first pro goal came in his 130^th game (including three playoff games last season).

Chart Topper: David Alexandre Beauregard scored his ninth shorthanded goal of the season Sunday at Rocky Mountain. Mississippi's Ryan Campbell is tied with Beauregard for the CHL lead in shorthanded goals. Beauregard leads the Oilers with 34 goals.

Road Warriors: The Oilers two road wins this weekend, give them 14 road triumphs on the season, the most in the Northwest Division.
