The championship game will be broadcast live on Rogers TV and the OHL Action Pak on Sunday at 5:00 p.m.

"We have an outstanding crop of talent that will be participating in this tournament once again this year," said Robert Kitamura, the OHL's Director of Central Scouting and Player Development and a member of the OHL Cup Selection Committee. "The competition in this tournament is always a highlight of the hockey calendar and this year's event should be no exception. We are looking forward to watching the top teams and many of the top players eligible for this year's Priority Selection compete on the same stage this week in Mississauga."

The tournament will feature several of the top players eligible for the 2008 OHL Priority Selection like Jr. Canadiens' captain John McFarland as well as Erik Gudbranson from the Ottawa Jr. 67's, Ryan Spooner from the Ottawa Senators and Gregg McKegg from the Elgin-Middlesex Chiefs. Last year, the top three picks in the OHL Priority Selection - Ryan O'Reilly of the Erie Otters, Taylor Hall of the Windsor Spitfires and Casey Cizikas of the Mississauga St. Michael's Majors - all played in the OHL Cup.
