The Sea Dogs have won four straight, and continue their four-game series with the New Britain Rock Cats (Twins affiliate) on Tuesday night at New Britain Stadium.

NICE TURNAROUND: The Sea Dogs have won four straight, and continue their four-game series with the New Britain Rock Cats on Tuesday night at New Britain Stadium...Portland now occupies fourth place, two games ahead of the 'Cats and only three games behind second place New Hampshire...Last night was Portland's second doubleheader sweep this month...RHP Terry Doyle looks to snap a three-game losing streak in three starts since joining Portland...Former Major Leaguer Kyle Davies gets the start for New Britain.

CLEAN SWEEP: Portland swept last night's doubleheader, taking the opener 5-4 and the nightcap 8-3 in 9-innings...Tony Thomas blasted a three-run homer and made a great diving catch to save a run in the fourth...Keith Couch worked six innings to earn his seventh win of the season...In game two, Matt Spring hit two go-ahead homers, including the game-winner in the ninth...Jeremy Kehrt made the start in game two and worked five hitless innings until New Britain scored three times in the sixth inning on homers by Angel Morales and Miguel Sano.
