
Baysox Ready to Rock With Rocknoceros

BOWIE, Md. - The Bowie Baysox announce today Superhero Night with a special pregame concert by Northern Virginia's premier power-trio for children, Rocknoceros, on Saturday, August 3, as the team takes on the Portland Sea Dogs at 6:35 p.m. Get to the stadium early to enjoy kids band Rocknoceros in concert and meet your favorite superheroes, including Iron Man and Spiderman during the game.
The fun for kids and family will begin at 4:00 p.m. when the stadium gates open for the concert. Rocknoceros is scheduled to perform at 4:15 p.m. Regular stadium gates will open after the concert at 5:30 p.m.
Baysox Promotions Manager Chris Rogers is excited for the upcoming event. "It's going to be a wild and unpredictable night at Prince George's Stadium with Rocknoceros performing and superheroes scheduled to roam the concourse," Rogers said. "You can meet Iron Man and Spiderman just after enjoying another great concert featuring the fun and antics of Coach Cotton, Williebob and Boogie Woogie Bennie."
Tickets for the concert are $12 in advance or $14 the day of the concert and include a general admission seat ticket for the Baysox game. Tickets can be ordered by calling (301)-464-4865 or online at www.baysox.com. Fans need a ticket for both the pregame concert and the baseball game for early stadium entrance.
After the concert, fans can meet and take pictures with Iron Man, Spiderman and all their favorite superheroes during a special meet-and-greet session. Be sure to also dress up as your favorite superhero and cheer them on as they help fight crime on the field during in-game promotions.
The event also features a number of special perks for members of Louie's Kids Club. Club members and their parents can purchase Box Seat tickets for $12 (regularly $17) with early admission for the concert. Louie's Kids Club is free and easy to join.
