LAST TIME IN READING: The Sea Dogs and Reading Fightin Phils (Phillies affiliate) meet for the final time at First Energy Stadium this season...Reading has taken two of three in the series, and have won six of their last seven games...Portland is 0-6-1 in their last seven series...The 'Dogs last series win came on May 20-23 at Hadlock Field, taking three of four from the New Hampshire Fisher Cats...RHP Keith Couch makes his third straight start, he's took RHP Brandon Workman's spot in the rotation.

LOOKED GOOD EARLY: Portland scored eight times over two innings (2nd and 3rd), but couldn't hold onto an 8-2 lead, losing on Wednesday night 9-8...Tyson Gillies delivered a walk-off RBI single in the 10th inning with one out off Miguel Celestino (1-5)...The Fightin Phils hit four homers, two by Jim Murphy...Tyler Henson hit a two-run homer and Sebastian Valle added a solo-shot...Peter Hissey and Matty Johnson each drove in two runs for Portland...Travis Shaw added his sixth homer of the season and finished 2-for-5...Luis Garcia pitched a scoreless 10th to earn the win for Reading.
