SEEKING #1 TONIGHT : The Portland Sea Dogs seek their first road-series win of the season, taking on the New Hampshire Fisher Cats (Blue Jays affiliate) in the rubber match-up of a three-game set at Northeast Delta Dental Stadium...Dating back to last season, the 'Dogs have lost nine straight road-series - their last win on August 8-10, 2017, a three-game sweep at Richmond...Portland won their final series of '17 at New Hampshire, taking two of three on July 24-26.

ONE INNING DID THE TRICK : A five-run fourth inning proved enough for the Sea Dogs, holding on for a 5-3 victory over the 'Cats on Tuesday night...Jordan Weems entered the game with the bases-loaded and two outs in the ninth inning, and struck out Bo Bichette to end the game...Teddy Stankiewicz (2-4) worked 5.2 innings in relief of Travis Lakins to earn his second win in relief...Portland received four RBI singles in the fourth and scored a run on an error by pitcher T.J. Zeuch (L, 0-1).
