The Sea Dogs 50 wins are the most in professional baseball, and wrap-up their three-game series with the New Hampshire Fisher Cats (Blue Jays affiliate) on Wednesday night at Hadlock Field.

NEWS AND NOTES

ENDS TONIGHT : The Sea Dogs are 4-2 on their seven-game homestand, which ends tonight against the New Hamsphire Fisher Cats (Blue Jays affiliate)...With a win tonight, the Fisher Cats will take their first series from Portland this season...Starting tomorrow night, the 'Dogs will play 12 of their next 15 games on the road (4-game series against Reading, Trenton and Binghamton)...Portland leads the league in hitting (.287) and pitching (3.47 ERA), and is the lone team in professional baseball with 50 wins.

RACKING UP THE K'S : LHP Daniel Norris earned his first Double-A win, fanning 10 batters over 5.2 IP, and leading the New Hampshire Fisher Cats to a 5-1 win on Tuesday night...Norris, who was named to the MLB Future's Game before Tuesday's game, yielded three hits and one walk...Portland fanned a season-high 15 times, scoring their lone run in the sixth inning on a bases-loaded HBP from David Chester...RHP Mike McCarthy (6-3) took the loss, giving up four runs on six hits over 4 IP...DH Matt Newman drove in two runs with a homer and ground out for the 'Cats.
