New Hampshire Fisher Cats News Release

PORTLAND, Maine - A late afternoon deluge and a bleak evening forecast has postponed the Fisher Cats-Sea Dogs game tonight at Hadlock Field in Maine. It will be made up as part of a doubleheader on Saturday, July 12 at 5 p.m.

The rain out means the teams split the two-game set, and the Fisher Cats end their road trip with a 2-3 record.

New Hampshire returns home to begin a five-game, four-day series with the New Britain Rock Cats on Thursday night at Northeast Delta Dental Stadium. The opener of the series begins at 7:05 p.m. and will be followed by a brilliant Atlas Fireworks show presented by Great Wolf Lodge. Tickets are available by visiting the stadium box office, calling (603) 641-2005, or visiting www.nhfishercats.com.

Because of the rain-out, the Fisher Cats starter for Thursday has yet to be determined. New Britain will start lefty Jason Wheeler. Radio coverage begins at 6:45 p.m. with Tom Gauthier and Dick Lutsk on WGIR 610 AM and www.nhfishercats.com.
