OUR BAGS ARE PACKED:The Sea Dogs close out a short three-game homestand on Thursday night, taking on the Binghamton Mets at Hadlock Field...Portland has lost seven straight to Binghamton in Maine, dating back to the 2014 Eastern League Playoffs...The B-Mets have won six straight overall

and eight of 12 from Portland this season...The Sea Dogs have dropped three in a row and 12 of their last 15...RHP William Cuevas is 2-0, 2.19 ERA in two starts against Binghamton - both at NYSEG Stadium.

DECIDED AFTER THREE: Binghamton scored twice in the first inning and held on to beat the Portland Sea Dogs, 3-1 on Wednesday night...Luis Cessa (6-4) tossed eight innings on five hits, one run, two walks and three strikeouts, earning his second win of the season against Portland...Heri Quevedo (0-3) took his third straight loss, allowing three runs on five hits over 3.0 IP...Michael Conforto went 3-for-4 with an RBI double and Brock Peterson added a run-scoring double...Portland's lone run came in the third on Carlos Asuaje's run-scoring fielder's choice.
