MOTHER NATURE AGAIN : Portland was postponed for the 11th time last night, and continues their four-game series with a doubleheader at Binghamton on Wednesday night...The Sea Dogs are 5-0-2 in doubleheaders this season (1-0-2 in 3 twinbills against the B-Mets)...With one win tonight, the 'Dogs could become the first 60-win team in all of professional baseball

POST 4TH FIREWORKS : The Binghamton Mets hit three homers, two by Travis Taijeron and beat the Sea Dogs, 11-4 on Monday night...Taijeron knocked home four runs, chasing LHP Brian Johnson (7-2) out of the game in the third inning after a three-run shot...Brandon Nimmo added a three-run homer off Michael Olmsted in the sixth...'Dogs Mike Brenly finished 2-for-4, 2 RBI and 2 doubles...Michael Almanzar (2-for-3), David Chester (2-for-3), and Derrik Gibson (2-for-5) added multi-hit games...RHP Cory Mazzoni (1-0) tossed five innings on three hits to earn the win in his season debut with Binghamton.
