The Sea Dogs open up a three-game series in two days with the New Britain Rock Cats (Twins affiliate) on Saturday at Hadlock Field. Today is Portland's 7th doubleheader (4-0-2) of the season.

NEWS AND NOTES
BACK HOME : The Sea Dogs were postponed for the 10th time on Friday night, and start a three-game series in two days with the New Britain Rock Cats (Twins affiliate)...Tonight is Portland's seventh doubleheader of the season - they are 4-0-2...The 'Dogs swept the 'Cats in a twinbill on April 18th at New Britain (6-4 and 6-0)...Portland and New Britain play one more series after this three-game set, a four-game series on July 24-27 at New Britain Stadium.
EIGHT WAS ENOUGH : Trenton took the series finale from the Portland Sea Dogs, 8-0 on Thursday night at Arm & Hammer Park...1B Rob Segedin finished 3-for-4 with a homer and 4 RBI...Ben Gamel and Zach Wilson each had 2 RBI...Portland tied a season-low with just three hits - also had 3 hits against Trenton on May 18th at Hadlock Field...LHP Matt Tracy (8-2) tossed five innings on just one hit to earn the win...RHP Mike Augliera (3-7) took the loss, yielding six runs on 11 hits over 4 IP...Michael Almanzar (single), David Chester (double) and Peter Hissey (infield single) had the hits for the 'Dogs.
