The Sea Dogs and Bowie Baysox meet for the final time this season on Thursday night at Prince George's Stadium...With a win tonight, the 'Dogs will be 31 games over .500 for the first time since 1995.

NEWS AND NOTES

WRAPPING THINGS UP : The Sea Dogs and Bowie Baysox (Orioles affiliate) meet for the final time this season, closing out a three-game set on Thursday night at Prince George's Stadium...Portland is seeking their fourth series sweep on the road (last at Reading June 26-29) and the season series with the Baysox...A win tonight, puts Portland 31 games over .500 for the first time since they were 83-52 on August 27, 1995...RHP Justin Haley makes his second Double-A start and his first on the road.

FINAL AT-BAT AGAIN : Portland beat the Bowie Baysox in their final at-bat for the second straight night, 7-4, on Wednesday night...DH Carson Blair knocked home the game-winning run, snapping a 4-4 tie with a run-scoring single in the ninth...CF Shannon Wilkerson added the final two runs with a single...RHP Aaron Kurcz (3-2) tossed a season-high 2.2 innings on one hit and three strikeouts, earning the win...RHP Dayan Diaz worked around a lead-off single in the ninth to earn his first win in the Red Sox system...Jonathan Roof had a two-run single and Mike Brenly added a go-ahead RBI single, during a 3-run fourth.
