Schroeder and Vandermeer Swap Places

The Vancouver Canucks have recalled center JORDAN SCHROEDER from the Chicago Wolves and have assigned defenseman JIM VANDERMEER to the Wolves.

VANDERMEER, who was signed by Vancouver on Jan. 14, is a 10-year National Hockey League veteran. He posted 4 points (G, 3A) and 33 penalty minutes in 25 games with the San Jose Sharks last season.

Overall, the 30-year-old blueliner has amassed 80 assists, 105 points, and 664 penalty minutes in 461 career NHL tilts with Philadelphia, Chicago, Calgary, Phoenix, Edmonton, and San Jose from 2002-12.

SCHROEDER has tallied 9 goals, 10 assists, and 19 points in 30 games with the Wolves this season.
