
Senators reassign goaltender Robin Lehner to Binghamton

OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Jan. 22, 2013) - The Ottawa Senators announced today they have reassigned goaltender Robin Lehner to the club's American Hockey League affiliate, the Binghamton Senators.
Lehner, 21, served as Craig Anderson's back-up in each of Ottawa's first two games this season. In 21 AHL contests in 2012-13, he has already established a new professional career high with 14 wins and currently ranks second among AHL goaltenders in save percentage (0.945%) and is third in goals-against-average (1.90).
The Senators active roster is now comprised of 22 players: Two goaltenders, seven defencemen and 13 forwards.
Ottawa returns to action when it completes a home-and-home series with the Florida Panthers on Thursday at 7:30 p.m. in Sunrise, Fla. The game will be broadcast by Sportsnet East and RDS. The B-Sens play next on Friday evening when they visit Syracuse.
