IceCaps Appoint Communications Director

Glenn Stanford, Chief Operating Officer for the St. John's IceCaps, is pleased to announce that David Salter has been appointed the club's Communications Director.

A native of St. John's, Salter has nearly 25 years of media experience and seven years in public relations with the governments of Newfoundland and Labrador and Nova Scotia. Salter has a Bachelor of Arts degree (English) from Memorial University and Bachelor of Journalism from the University of King's College.

"David is known locally for his hockey writing and on-air roles covering the AHL on Rogers Television," said Stanford.

"Coupled with his experience in government communications, he is a great fit for the IceCaps organization."

The IceCaps' next game is against the Penguins Wednesday night in Wilkes-Barre.
