You Could Win Your Own Hockey Card Saturday

Rockford, Ill.-Hockey fans have long collected hockey trading cards of their favorite team and players. The Rockford IceHogs are going to give one lucky fan their own personal trading card this Saturday when they take on the Oklahoma City Barons at 7:05 p.m.

The first 2,500 fans to the game on Saturday will pick up a pack of 2012-13 retro style IceHogs hockey cards sponsored by the Rockford Register Star.

Fans will be chosen at random to get a chance to win a prize package that includes a fan card and 100 copies of the individual fan card, along with a pair of tickets to the Chicago Blackhawks game on Sunday, Jan. 27 against the Detroit Red Wings.  Five fans will be selected to participate in an intermission contest that will feature prizes for all contestants.

The weekend kicks off on Friday when the IceHogs host the Chicago Wolves in an Illinois Lottery Cup matchup at 7:05 p.m. at the BMO Harris Bank Center. The first 2,500 fans to the game will receive an IceHogs fleece blanket courtesy of OSF St. Anthony Medical Center.
