San Diego, California- The San Diego Gulls scored with only 23 seconds remaining in overtime to defeat the Utah Grizzlies 2-1, Saturday night at the iPay One Center.

After a scoreless first period, the Gulls got on the board first when Patrick Levesque beat Utah netminder, Alfie Michaud, at the 12:02 mark of the second period to go up 1-0.

In the third period, Louis Dumont found Ryan Kinasewich who skated through traffic and lit the lamp for his 29th goal of the season at 6:15, tying the game at one a piece.

With time winding down in the overtime period, Steve Hildenbrand put a one-timer into the back of the net to lift the Gulls to the 2-1 victory over the Grizzlies.

Prior to the game, Grizzlies Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Jason Christie announced that defenseman Ed Hill has been loaned to the AHL's Peoria Rivermen.

The Utah Grizzlies (31-20-5) are back in action tomorrow, February 26, when they visit the Phoenix RoadRunners. Game time is 5:00 p.m.
