Shiryaev Dealt to San Diego

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - The Bakersfield Condors today announced that forward Dennis Shiryaev has been traded to the San Diego Gulls in exchange for future considerations.

Shiryaev, 27, has recorded three goals and two assists in 24 appearances this season, including a shorthanded assist against Victoria on October 22nd and a power play goal versus Stockton on December 31st. The 6-foot-1 215 pound native of Kharkov, Ukraine has played in 330 career games, including two games in the American Hockey League with the Houston Aeros in 2002-03.

Shiryaev was placed on the 7-Day Injured Reserve list with a knee injury on January 12th and was transferred to the 30-Day Injured Reserve on January 14th.

The Condors return home for Poster Giveaway Night on Monday, February 27th against the Fresno Falcons. All fans in attendance will receive a free "The Hunt is On" poster courtesy of the US Army and KUZZ 107.9.
