San Diego Gulls Announce Roster Move

SAN DIEGO - The San Diego Gulls announced today that the American Hockey League (AHL) club has recalled left wing Greger Hanson from the Utah Grizzlies, San Diego's primary affiliate in the ECHL .

Hanson, 29 (2/17/88), began the season with Utah, collecting 3-58 points with a +1 rating and 10 penalty minutes (PIM). At the time of his recall, the 5-10, 185-pound forward ranked tied for fifth among ECHL leaders in points and tied seventh in assists. Among Utah leaders, he also ranked tied for second in points and assists, and third in goals.

Hanson has appeared in 50 career AHL contests, collecting 5-712 points with a +5 rating and 44 PIM with San Diego (2016-17), Chicago (2016-17), Binghamton (2016-17), Charlotte (2016-17), Utica (2015-16), San Jose (2015-16), Oklahoma City (2014-15) and Worcester (2014-15). The Lidingo, Sweden native appeared in five games with San Diego last season, collecting 1-23 points with a +2 rating and two PIM after signing a Professional Tryout (PTO) with the Gulls on Jan. 11, 2017.
