
1st-Place Hogs Seek 5th Straight Win

ROCKFORD, Ill. - The first-place Rockford IceHogs seek a fifth consecutive win as they host the Milwaukee Admirals Friday night at the BMO Harris Bank Center.
Puck drop is at 7 p.m. and fans can tune in to all the action on Cozi TV 23.3 or Dish Network Channel 252, beginning with IceHogs Warmup at 6:30 p.m. IceHogs fans can also listen to the game at sportsfanradio1330.com or watch live at AHLlive.com (subscription required).
Matchup: The IceHogs return to the ice following a 2-1 overtime victory at the Iowa Wild Wednesday night. Rockford has now won six of its first seven games of the 2017-18 season and enters Friday's game ranked first in the AHL in win percentage with an overall record of 6-1-0-0 (.857).
Forward Vinnie Hinostroza leads the team in scoring after extending his own point streak to six straight games during the Hogs' win at Iowa. Hinostroza has posted 4g-6a-10pts during his streak and is currently tied for fifth in the entire league in scoring with 10 total points on the season. In net, goaltender J.F. Berube remains unbeaten through five starts and boasts a 1.38 GAA and .950 save percentage this year.
Milwaukee takes the ice for the first time since suffering its first loss of the season last Saturday to the IceHogs. The Admirals are currently 4-1-0-0 this year, and have split the first two games of the season series with Rockford, including a 5-3 road victory at the BMO on Oct. 15 and 6-2 home loss last Saturday (Oct. 21).
Forward Emil Petterson leads Milwaukee in scoring with 2g-6a-8pts in five games in 2017-18, including 1g-3a-4pts in two matchups with the IceHogs. Between the pipes, Anders Lindback is undefeated in four starts with a 4-0-0-0 record, 2.50 GAA and 0.905 save percentage.
Next Home Game: The Rockford IceHogs host the Grand Rapids Griffins Saturday, Oct. 28 at the BMO Harris Bank Center.
