THIS WEEK'S GAMES
Wednesday, November 11 at Texas Stars Cedar Park Center, 7:30 p.m. (CT) The Rampage have a couple days to rest before they make a third day trip to Austin to face off against the Texas Stars. San Antonio is on their long- est point streak to start a season in franchise history (10 games). Three of their points this season have come from Texas, as the Silver and Black fell in overtime 5-4 in their season opener and won 4-3 in Saturday's contest.
Friday, November 13 vs. Stockton AT&T Center, 7:30 p.m. (CT) The Silver and Black return home to face off against the Stockton Heat for the second time at home this season. Stockton visits the Lone Star State for back-to-back games with the Rampage on Friday and the Texas Stars on Saturday. The last time Stockton came to the AT&T Center they fell 5- 1 in the Silver and Black's home opener. Friday's game marks the second $1 Drink Night on the Rampage calendar.
Sunday, November 15 vs.Texas Stars AT&T Center, 4:00 p.m. (CT) The Rampage have a day of rest before the Texas Stars make their first trip to the AT&T Center of the season. The Stars and Rampage face off a total of seven times in San Antonio where the Silver and Black have been 18-16-0-0-1 against Texas. Sunday's game is also the second event in the Rampage's 2015 Face-Off Against Kids Cancer (FOAKC) program. The players' buddies will come to the game and hang out with the team afterward. FOAKC was first developed by Dan Weiss, the voice of the Rampage, in 2009.
BETWEEN THE PIPES: Calvin Pickard was nam ed Goaltender of the Month for his sensa- tional play during October. He recorded 194 saves on 205 shots (.946%), five wins and one over- time loss, one assist, and only allowed an average of 1.79 goals during six games. Pickard also set a season and AHL high in saves recorded in one game at 45 in a contest with the Texas Stars on Nov. 7.
ON A ROLL: The Rampage's 10-game point streak is the longest to start a season in franchise history. The previous point streak record was in the 2009-10 campaign when the team recorded a five-game point streak (4-0-1-0) to start the season.
ICE CHIPS: Colin Smith -- Rampage Center
Colin Smith has tallied four goals and three assists through 10 games, tying him for fourth in total points for the Rampage this season. Smith has also stepped up for the Silver and Black in the absence of center Ben Street, who was recalled by Colorado on Nov. 2. In the four game since Street's recall, Smith has been on the ice for five of the Rampage's 11 goals, recording a point on three of those five goals (2G, 1A). In his third AHL season, Smith is on pace to set career highs in goals and points in a single season. Smith has one appearance with the Colorado Avalanche in the 2014-15 season.
UPCOMING EVENTS
Cool School Day Tues., Nov. 17 10:30 a.m. vs. Texas Stars The Rampage will host their Cool School Day game at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 17. Spend the morning with the Rampage in a game that both entertains and promotes learning by provid- ing young minds with some hockey-themed trivia and in-game challenges.
