
Syracuse University Women's Ice Hockey to Hold Six Games at War Memorial Arena

SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The Syracuse Crunch, in conjunction with Syracuse University athletics, have announced that the SU women's ice hockey team will play six home games during their 2015-16 campaign at the historic War Memorial Arena.
The War Memorial Arena, home to the Syracuse Crunch, is located in downtown Syracuse. Starting on Saturday, Nov. 14, the Orange will take the ice at the 6,010-seat arena for six of its remaining 14 home games.
"We are proud to offer the Syracuse University women's ice hockey team the opportunity to showcase their talent at the War Memorial Arena," said Crunch chief operating officer Jim Sarosy. "We are excited to welcome Orange fans to the arena and look forward to providing the team with this unique experience."
"We are really excited to be partnering with the Syracuse Crunch for six games this year," SU women's ice hockey head coach Paul Flanagan said. "We look forward to playing some home contests there and we think it will be an exciting atmosphere for our fans."
All six games are scheduled for 3 p.m. and feature contests against nationally-ranked Cornell and North Dakota as well as two College Hockey America series versus Mercyhurst and Lindenwood.
The following schedule at the War Memorial Arena is as follows:
Saturday, Nov. 14 at 3 p.m. vs. Cornell
Friday, Nov. 27 at 3 p.m. vs. North Dakota
Friday, Jan. 15 at 3 p.m. vs. Mercyhurst
Saturday, Jan. 16 at 3 p.m. vs. Mercyhurst
Friday, Feb. 19 at 3 p.m. vs. Lindenwood
Saturday, Feb. 20 at 3 p.m. vs. Lindenwood
Single game and season tickets are on sale now and can be purchased either in person at the Crunch Box Office located in the War Memorial on 800 South State Street in Syracuse or by calling the office at 315-473-4444.
