Manitoba Moose News Release
The Manitoba Moose Hockey Club is pleased to announce that it has partnered with Red River Co-op for the "Share the Warmth" winter clothing drive in support of Siloam Mission.
The three week campaign kicks off at the Manitoba Moose home game against the Chicago Wolves presented by Red River Co-op on Friday, Nov. 13 at 7 p.m. CT at the MTS Centre.
Fans attending the game that night are encouraged to donate winter clothing items such as gloves, mitts, toques and scarves which will then be distributed to those in need this winter season.
Anyone who makes a cash or clothing donation at the game will receive a ballot to enter a draw to win great prizes including a grand prize consisting of the use of a suite for the Moose game on Dec. 12 versus Milwaukee or a prize package courtesy of Tough Duck.
For anyone unable to attend the game on Friday, Nov. 13, Red River Co-op will have collection depots at each of their 25 gas bars and four food store locations throughout Winnipeg from Nov. 13 until Nov. 30.
In addition, on Thursday, Nov. 19 at Red River Co-op's Bridgewater gas bar location at 50 Centre Street, Red River Co-op will donate ten cents from every litre of gas purchased to the "Share the Warmth" campaign up to a maximum of $5,000. For every purchase or donation made, patrons will receive a ballot for prize draws and a limited number of Moose giveaways and vouchers will be available.
Tickets for the Manitoba Moose "Share the Warmth" game and every Moose regular season game are available now at MooseHockey.com/tickets.
