STRONG START
The Wolves are off to the second-best start in franchise history with a 7-1-0-1 record. Only the 2007-08 team started stronger out of the gate, going 8-0-1-0 en route to capturing the 2008 Calder Cup.
ROAD RALLIES
The Wolves are making late comebacks look routine, as three times this season JOHN ANDERSON's club has scored with under five minutes left in regulation to earn points on the road. JEREMY WELSH netted an extra attacker goal with 55 seconds left in the third on Friday, and TY RATTIE found the back of the net with 1:34 remaining on Sunday in a pair overtime wins. On Oct. 23, PAT CANNONE tallied a goal with 4:58 left on the clock to force overtime in a shootout loss at Rockford.

WOLVES HEADLINERS
- DANNY KRISTO: Scored back-to-back overtime game-winning goals to help the Wolves to a 4-point weekend in the Lone Star State ... KRISTO was named No. 1 Star of the Game both nights, scoring 3:26 into overtime on Friday and ending the game just 53 seconds into overtime on Sunday.
- PAT CANNONE: Extended his point streak to a career-best nine games ... On four occasions, CANNONE's streak has been in jeopardy late in games, only to see the Wolves captain come through in the clutch: On Oct. 23, CANNONE scored with 4:58 left in regulation; on Oct. 25 he assisted on MAGNUS PAAJARVI's goal with 47 seconds left in regulation; on Oct. 30 CANNONE scored an empty net goal with 1:19 left in the third; and on Nov. 7 he assisted on DANNY KRISTO's overtime goal.
- TY RATTIE: Playing in his first game with the Wolves since Oct. 23, the right wing knocked in a loose rebound on the backhand to force overtime in the team's 4-3 victory over San Antonio on Sunday ... RATTIE's goal gave the momentum back to Chicago after San Antonio snapped a 2-2 tie just 36 seconds earlier ... RATTIE shares the team lead in goals (5) -- despite having missed five games -- and has scored in all four games in which he has played.
- JEREMY WELSH: Figured in two important goals over the weekend, forcing overtime with an extra attacker tally (with 55 seconds left in regulation) on Friday, then assisting on TY RATTIE's game-tying goal with 1:34 left in the third period on Sunday ... WELSH has points in four consecutive games.
- JORDAN BINNINGTON: Won his fourth start in five outing with a season-high 37 saves versus San Antonio in the series opener ... BINNINGTON stopped a short-handed breakaway during the first period to keep the game close.
- PHEONIX COPLEY: Extended his win streak to three games, registering 28 saves on Sunday ...
COPLEY went 121 minutes and 2 seconds between goals during a shutout streak that began on Oct. 16 ... COPLEY and BINNINGTON give the Wolves a formidable goaltending tandem in front of an already solid defensive corps.
WOLF TRACKS
- The Wolves are in the midst of a five-game winning streak, the team's longest since last spring when Chicago won seven straight from March 21-April 2.
- Chicago has recorded points in seven straight contests (including all three road games) and accumulated points in eight of nine games to start the season.
- The Wolves sport the top winning percentage (.833) in the Western Conference and the second-best percentage in the league. Chicago has stood atop the Central Division standings for the past four weeks.
- Chicago's weekend sweep of San Antonio marked the first time the team had won back-to-back overtime games since December 2007.
- Head Coach JOHN ANDERSON is two wins shy of 400 regular-season AHL victories and needs one win to reach 750 for his professional career.

Sunday, Nov. 8 Chicago 4, (at) San Antonio 3 (OT)
- For the second game in a row, DANNY KRISTO scored the overtime game-winning goal to lead Chicago to a weekend sweep of San Antonio
- The Wolves struck for 3 goals in the third after being held off the board for 49-plus minutes as CODY BEACH, JORDAN CARON and TY RATTIE lit the lamp
- PHEONIX COPLEY made 28 saves to record his third straight win
Friday, Nov. 6 Chicago 4, (at) San Antonio 3 (OT)
- JEREMY WELSH's goal with 55 seconds left forced overtime, then DANNY KRISTO scored 3:26 into overtime to complete the Wolves' rally at the AT&T Center
- Defenseman JORDAN SCHMALTZ scored his first goal as a pro and left wing YANNICK VEILLEUX also scored for the Wolves
- JORDAN BINNINGTON stopped 37 of 40 shots to earn the win
