THIS WEEK'S GAMES

Friday, Jan. 8 at Bakersfield Condors Rabobank Arena, 9:00 p.m. (CT)

The Rampage begin their upcoming four-game road stretch with the Bakersfield Condors. Friday's game will be the first-ever meeting between the two teams in franchise history. The Condors currently sit .002 win- percentage points above the Silver and Black in the Pacific Division. This will be the first of six contests against Bakersfield, with the next two being held at the AT&T Center.

Saturday, Jan. 9 at San Jose Barracuda SAP Center, 10:30 p.m. (CT)

San Antonio faces off against the San Jose Barracuda for the first time in franchise history. The puck drops at 10:30 p.m. for the Rampage fans back home as the Silver and Black fight to climb back to the top of the Pacific Division.

Sunday, Jan. 10 at San Jose Barracuda SAP Center, 5:00 p.m. (CT)

The Barracuda will host the Rampage for a second time in the SAP Cen- ter, finishing the back-to-back with the Silver and Black. San Antonio is undefeated in regulation while playing in the Golden State, posting a 2-0-1 -0 record. The Rampage also hold one of the league's best road records and look to bag six points during their three-in-three this weekend.

ROAD WARRIORS: The Rampage boast one of the best road records in the AHL at 10-4-4-0. Their 24 points earned away from the AT&T Center is tied for third in the league for the most points earned on the road.

RAMPAGE AROUND THE WORLD: Rampage forward, Mikko Rantanen, has taken leave from the San Antonio Rampage to represent Finland in the International Ice Hockey Federation World Junior Championship in Helsinki, FIN. The Rampage forward has been a dominant force on the ice recording 10 goals, 16 assists and a +17 plus/minus rating in 26 appearances with San Antonio. Finland has advanced to the gold medal game after defeat- ing Canada 6-5 in quarterfinals and Sweden 2-1 in the semifinals. Finland will take on Russia in the IIHF World Junior Championship finals on Tues., Jan. 5 at 12:30 p.m. (CT).

ICE CHIPS: Joey Hishon - Rampage Center

Joey Hishon has been the engine of the Rampage offense the past six games. The Rampage center has recorded three goals and five assists since Dec. 21 against the Iowa Wild. Of those six games, three of the them were consecutive multiple-point games. Hishon leads the team in multiple-points games this season and is tied for first in Rampage helpers, totaling eight different multiple-point con- tests and 15 assists. The Ontario native has been effective on the power play, recording a team-high five power play goals. Through 34 games, Hishon is on pace to have a career-high in points and assists with the Silver and Black.
