Brian Foster Reassigned to Wheeling

WILKES-BARRE, Pa. - The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins announced today that they have reassigned goaltender Brian Foster to the Wheeling Nailers (ECHL).

Foster, 28, posted a record of 1-3-0-1 in five games with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton and recorded the first shutout of his AHL career with a 30-save effort against the Syracuse Crunch on Dec. 19, 2015.

In 12 appearances with the Nailers this season, Foster has a 6-5-1-0 record, a 2.84 goals against average, and .911 save percentage.

The Penguins' next home game is Tuesday, Jan. 5 against the Binghamton Senators. Individual tickets for Wilkes-Barre/Scranton games can be purchased at the Mohegan Sun Arena at Casey Plaza box office, through all Ticketmaster outlets, or by contacting the Penguins directly at (570) 208-7367.
