Coyotes Assign Cunningham to Springfield

Springfield, MA - Arizona Coyotes General Manager Don Maloney announced today that the Coyotes have assigned forward Craig Cunningham to the Springfield Falcons. The 25-year-old Cunningham recorded 0-1-1 and averaged 9:58 of ice time in nine games with the Coyotes. The native of Trail, British Columbia has registered 8-8-16 and 14 penalty minutes (PIM) in 21 games with the Falcons this season. Cunningham was originally drafted by the Boston Bruins in the fourth round (97th overall) in the 2010 Entry Draft and was acquired by the Coyotes off waivers from Boston on March 2, 2015.

The Falcons remain on the road with a 7:15 p.m. faceoff against the Hartford Wolf Pack on Friday night. The Birds return to the Nest on Saturday for a 7 p.m. faceoff against the Providence Bruins. Both games can be heard live on NewsRadio560 WHYN.
