
Eimskip Port-To-Port Challenge Returns

Portland, ME - In conjunction with the St. John's IceCaps, and international shipping company Eimskip, the Portland Pirates announced today the details of the second annual Eimskip Port-to-Port Challenge between the American Hockey League rivals.
Eimskip, which has offices in both port cities, returns as the title partner of the Eimskip Port-to-Port Challenge Cup - awarded to the team that finishes with the best win-loss record in the four contests between the Pirates and IceCaps. St.John's won the inaugural crown last season.
The Port-to-Port Challenge begins this weekend with the Pirates on the road in St. John's for two-games on Friday and Saturday. The challenge concludes with a two-game series in Portland at the Cross Insurance Arena on January 27 and 29. Puck drop for both games is scheduled for 7 p.m. EST. - Friday, January 8: Portland Pirates @ St. John's IceCaps - 6:00 p.m.
- Saturday, January 9: Portland Pirates @ St. John's IceCaps - 6:00 p.m.
- Wednesday, January 27: St. John's IceCaps @ Portland Pirates - 7:00 p.m.
- Friday, January 29: St. John's IceCaps @ Portland Pirates - 7:00 p.m.
