Lincoln Saltdogs News Release
LINCOLN, NE - As the Lincoln Saltdogs continue to celebrate Season Ten at Haymarket Park, the organization will reach an important milestone on Tuesday. The team will welcome its two millionth fan through the gates at Haymarket Park.
"Two million fans over the course of ten seasons is a testament to the amazing fan support the Saltdogs have received over the years," said Saltdogs general manager Tim Utrup. "Our goal has always been to provide the city of Lincoln with quality entertainment each summer, and we're honored by how the community has responded to that. We're excited to be able to honor our two millionth fan during our celebration of Season Ten."
When lucky fan number two million comes through the gates at Haymarket Park on Tuesday, that fan will receive a large prize package that begins with two club level full-season tickets for the Saltdogs' 2011 campaign. The lucky fan will also receive a VIP parking pass for 2011, a free SkyBox rental for one 2011 game, the opportunity to throw out a first pitch before a Saltdogs game, and a selection of Saltdogs merchandise and team-autographed items. In addition, the two millionth fan will also win $100 in scratch tickets from the Nebraska Lottery, a brand-new Blu-Ray player from Schaefer's, a $100 gift certificate from T.O. Haas Tire, free Pepsi products and a gift certificate for Angus Beef from Super Saver.
The Saltdogs will welcome their two millionth fan to Haymarket Park Tuesday before they take on the Wichita Wingnuts. Gates open at 6pm, and first pitch is scheduled for 7:05pm.
