
Salmon Kings Kick Off Preseason Games

Victoria Salmon Kings News Release
Victoria, BC - The Victoria Salmon Kings, proud affiliate of the Vancouver Canucks and Manitoba Moose, announced today that their preseason schedule begins tonight with the first of two games in McCall, Idaho versus the Steelheads at 6:10 p.m. PT. The games will not be broadcast on the B2 Networks.
The Salmon Kings roster for this weekend's exhibition games is as follows:

McCall, Idaho is a resort town with a population of just over 2,000, and is located 173 kilometers north of Boise. The games are being played at the Manchester Ice & Event Centre which has a capacity of 1,100 and a 275 foot glass façade with a lakefront view.
This marks the third time that the Salmon Kings and Steelheads will play preseason games, and the second time in McCall, Idaho. The first time the teams met was during the 2004-05 preseason when Idaho traveled to Chilliwack and Vancouver, B.C. The teams also played in McCall for two sold out preseason games prior to the 2006-07 season.
Last season Victoria played their two pre-season contests in Utah versus the Grizzlies.
These two teams meet again at 6:10 p.m. PT tomorrow in McCall.
The Salmon Kings kick off the regular season with a three game set in Phoenix beginning on October 17th at the US Airways Center. Victoria's home schedule begins on October 24th when the team welcomes the Stockton Thunder to the Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre for a 7:05 p.m. game
