PONIES PULL THROUGH WITH JUST TWO HITS: In a pitchers' duel between Nabil Crismatt and Sandy Baez, Binghamton emerged victorious 2-1 on Tuesday at UPMC Park. The Rumble Ponies two-run first inning proved to be enough for Crismatt and company, who limited the SeaWolves to one unearned run the entire night. It's Binghamton's 11th series-opening win in 16 tries.

BINGHAMTON STARTER: RHP Mickey Jannis makes his eighth Eastern League start of the season, and already his fourth against Erie. The knuckleballer lasted a season-best seven innings his last time out, earning a win over Bowie at NYSEG Stadium. Jannis is (2-0) in his third starts against Erie, and hasn't won on the road since his April 27 outing at UPMC Park.

SHOW PONIES: Binghamton has won five of its last six games to move four games over .500 for the first time this season. Even so, the Rumble Ponies are only outscoring their opponents 20-19 during the six-game span.

TWO-HIT EFFORTS: Tuesday marked the fourth time (and second in three days) that the Rumble Ponies collected just two hits in a game. Binghamton lost the first three times they had just a pair of hits.

CLOSING THE DOOR: The Rumble Ponies have earned a save in five of the last six games and lead the Eastern League with 19.

CRISMATT CRUISES: RHP Nabil Crismatt tossed 7.1 innings on Tuesday night, the deepest any Rumble Ponies starter has gone this season. In four of the last six games, a Binghamton starter has pitched at least seven innings.

SPIEDIE GAMES: The Rumble Ponies have completed five straight games in less than two hours and thirty minutes. The fastest contest in the quintet came on May 26, when the Spiedies defeated the Baysox, 3-1 in 2:06.

HUMP DAY HORRORS: Binghamton is 1-7 in Wednesday games. After today, they'll have played more Wednesday game's than any other day of the week.

NOT JOSHN' AROUND: RHP Joshua Torres came on to record the final out of Tuesday's game, collecting the first Double-A save of his career.

UNBLEMISHED IN ERIE: The Rumble Ponies are now 4-0 at UPMC Park this season and have taken eight of 10 against the SeaWolves.

CLOSE CALL CONNOISSEURS: With back-to-back one-run wins, Binghamton (9-4) has the best winning percentage of any Eastern League team in one-run games.

UP NEXT: The Rumble Ponies and SeaWolves wrap up their three-game series on Thursday morning at UPMC Park with an 11:05 AM first pitch.
