TONIGHT: The Binghamton Rumble Ponies and Portland Sea Dogs play a doubleheader as part of their five-game series at NYSEG Stadium.

LAST TIME OUT: In the series opener, the Rumble Ponies fell to the Sea Dogs 3-2 Monday. Portland took the lead for good with two runs in the seventh on a Charlie Madden solo homer and Marcus Wilson RBI single. The Ponies took a 2-1 lead in the fifth on a Patrick Mazeika sacrifice fly. Andres Gimenez tallied three hits and finished 3-5. Bryan Mata earned the win as he went six innings and allowed two runs on five hits. Joshua Torres suffered the loss and gave up two runs on three hits in 2.2 innings of relief.

GIMENEZ'S SCORCHING STREAK: Andres Gimenez went 3-5 Monday. Over the last 10 games, he is 15-39 (.385) with four RBI, three runs scored and two home runs. He has five multi-hit games, including a pair of three-hit performances.

ZANON'S TWO-HIT GAME: Jacob Zanon went 2-3 Monday night. It was his second multi-hit game with Binghamton. He has gotten at least one hit in six of his first 10 games at Double-A.

RUMBLE PONIES DOMINATE DH OPENERS: The Rumble Ponies are 10-4 in the first game of a doubleheader this season. The Ponies are 5-7 in game two. They have swept four twin bills, split eight of them and have been swept just once.

CAMPOS TO START GAME TWO: RHP Yeizo Campos will be making the first start of his Double-A career in game two of tonight's doubleheader. On the year, he is 0-1 with a 6.30 ERA in six appearances with the Rumble Ponies. It will be his 24th start of his professional career. In his last outing, Campos allowed three runs (two earned) on four hits in two innings of relief in the Ponies' 9-4 loss at New Hampshire on August 22.

MCGRATH TOPS IN EL: Portland's Daniel McGrath leads the Eastern League in ERA and opponents' batting average. He has a 1.61 ERA, which is the best by almost a full run. Matt Manning from Erie is second at 2.56. Opponents are hitting .183 against McGrath, the lowest mark in the league.

PERFECT MADDEN RANKING: Charlie Madden went 4-4 with a single, two doubles, a solo home run and two RBI. It was the second time in his career he went at least 4-4. The catcher went 5-5 in a game last year with Greenville (A).

PONIES EYE FIRST HOME WIN IN TWO WEEKS: Binghamton is looking for its first win at NYSEG Stadium since August 13 when they defeated New Hampshire in game one of a doubleheader. They have lost seven straight at home.
