Victoria, BC - The Victoria Royals scored three goals in the third period, and Phillip Schultz recorded his second career WHL hat-trick, in a 5-3 win over the CHL's eighth ranked Edmonton Oil Kings.

Hat-Trick Hero: Royals' forward Phillip Schultz scored his second career hat-trick in tonight's game. Schultz' first hat-trick, which took place on February 6, 2019 vs the Seattle Thunderbirds, was also the last time a Victoria player had scored three goals in a game.
Central Division: With tonight's win, the Royals now hold a 3-1-0-0 versus teams from the Central Division.
Former Team: Royals' defenceman Will Warm played against his former team for the first time tonight. Warm spent the past three seasons with the Oil Kings and was originally drafted by the club in the fifth round, 108th overall, in the 2014 WHL Bantam Draft.
Back in the Line-Up: Forward Carson Miller returned to Victoria's line-up tonight. Miller had not played a game since September 28th.
Friday Night: The Royals are now hold a record of 5-1-1-0 on Fridays. Since the club moved to the island in 2011, the team has gone 102-63-9-6 in Friday night games. The Royals last three Friday home victories have come against teams from the Central Division (Edmonton, Lethbridge & Swift Current).
On the Road: The Royals will now head out on a three-game US Division road trip with contests against the Seattle Thunderbirds (Wednesday, November 27th), Tri-City Americans (Friday, November 29th) and Spokane Chiefs (Saturday, November 30th).
Next Home Game: Victoria will return to Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre for a three-game homestand that will begin on Wednesday, December 4th against BC Division rivals the Vancouver Giants. The Royals will then host the Seattle Thunderbirds on Friday, December 6th and Saturday, December 7th. Saturday's contest in the club's annual Teddy Bear Toss game.
