Hitmen finish season long six-game road trip 4-1-1-0

Moose Jaw, SK - The Calgary Hitmen ran their winning streak to three games and their point streak to five with a 4-1 victory over the Moose Jaw Warriors on Saturday night at Mosaic Place.

Defencemen Jett Woo and Egor Zamula led the way with two points each. Woo notched a goal and an assist in his 200th career game in the Western Hockey League while Zamula recorded a pair of assists. Jonas Peterek, Orca Wiesblatt and Mark Kastelic also scored for the Hitmen who wrapped up their nine day tour of Saskatchewan and Manitoba with a record of 4-0-1.

Cole Jordan was the only Warrior to beat Hitmen rookie goaltender Brayden Peters who made 17 saves in the victory. Adam Evanoff added 27 stops in the loss for Moose Jaw.

Dating back to last season, the Hitmen are now 7-0 against the Warriors after having lost the previous 11.

Calgary, 13-6-2-1, will return to Alberta for a three games in three days weekend beginning Friday, Nov. 29 at home against Regina followed by a Saturday, Nov. 30 matinee in Edmonton. The ENMAX Teddy Bear Toss follows against Red Deer on Sunday, Dec. 1 at 4:00 p.m.
