Last time they met: The Blades edged the Thunderbirds 4-3 in Saskatoon on January 8th for the teams' lone meeting of last season. Kyle Crnkovic was named as 1st Star with a goal while Chase Wouters & Eric Florchuk also scored for the home side.

What it means for Saskatoon: Getting their first win on a long road trip that's still in its early days.

The stat: 6 - the T-Birds have lost their last three games in a row and are averaging 6 goals against in that span.

The match-up: Special Teams Battle - prior to last night's game in Everett, the Blades had special teams trending at above the middle of the pack. Meanwhile, Seattle have one of the weaker special team groups in the league, coming in at 18th overall for power plays & 19th overall for penalty killing.Saskatoon's special teams regaining their regular form could go a long way in trumping the T-Birds.

It's a big night for: The Blades - for a snake-bitten group, the Blades have a prime opportunity to get their U.S. road trip back on the right track with a game against against the leaky Seattle Thunderbirds. The T-birds have given up 3, 10 & 5 goals in each of their last three games respectively - as such the Blades' should have a good chance at rediscovering their scoring touch tonight.
