
Royals to Face Chiefs in First Round of WHL Playoffs

Victoria, BC- The Victoria Royals will meet the Spokane Chiefs in the first round of the WHL Playoffs in a best-of-seven series beginning on Friday, March 25th at Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre.
The Royals concluded the 2015-16 WHL regular season as Scotty Munro Memorial Trophy winners with the best overall record in the league. As a result Victoria holds the top seed in the BC Division and Western Conference and will have home ice advantage versus Spokane, who occupies the second wild-card spot, in the first round.

Friday, March 25th - Spokane @ Victoria - 7:05 p.m.
Saturday, March 26th - Spokane @ Victoria - 7:05 p.m.
Tuesday, March 29th - Victoria @ Spokane - 7:05 p.m.
Wednesday, March 30th - Victoria @ Spokane - 7:05 p.m.
Friday, April 1st - Spokane @ Victoria - 7:05 p.m. (if necessary)
Sunday, April 3rd - Victoria @ Spokane - 5:05 p.m. (if necessary)
Tuesday, April 5th - Spokane @ Victoria - 7:05 p.m. (if necessary)
This series will mark the second time that the two teams have met in the post-season. Victoria faced Spokane in Round 1 of the 2014 WHL Playoffs, and won the series in four games.
