Blazers Finish Regular Season with 2-0 Win

The Blazers conclude the 2015-16 WHL regular season with a 2-0 win in Prince George on Saturday night. The Blazers finished the season with nine straight wins and a 38-25-5-4 record which is 3rd in the B.C. Division and fourth in the Western Conference.

Dylan Ferguson got the start on Saturday night as he earned his first career WHL shutout with 38 saves.

Nick Chyzowski and Ondrej Vala scored goals for the Blazers in the victory. Chyzowski scored the game's first goal which turned out to be the winner and Vala added insurance in the second period for a 2-0 win.

The Blazers will now set their sights on the Kelowna Rockets in the first round of the WHL playoffs.

Games 1 and 2 of the series will be in Kelowna on March 25th and 26th. Games 3 and 4 will be in Kamloops on March 29th and 30th.

Game 3 of the series will be played at Memorial Arena. A limited number of tickets will be available for purchase on Monday, March 21st.
