
Silvertips Announce First Round WHL Playoffs Schedule vs. Portland Winterhawks

EVERETT, Wash. - The Everett Silvertips, four time U.S. Division champions, announced their first round schedule of the WHL Playoffs presented locally by Mountain Pacific Bank, a best-of-seven series against the Portland Winterhawks and will start with game 1 at XFINITY Arena on Friday, Mar. 25 at 7:35 p.m. The Silvertips have home ice advantage in the series.
Ticket packages and individual playoff tickets for the first round of the playoffs are on sale at the Silvertips offices at XFINITY Arena, by phone at (425) 252-5100 or at www.everettsilvertips.com/playoffs.

All games will be carried live on radio at Fox Sports 1380 and via the Silvertips mobile app.
The Silvertips aim for their second straight season with a playoff series win and face the Winterhawks in a rematch of last year's second round series, won by Portland, 4-1. This season, the Silvertips finished second place in the U.S. Division with a record of 38-26-5-3 (84 points) and went 5-5-0-0 in 10 games against the Winterhawks. With one game remaining on their schedule, Portland is tied for third in the U.S. Division at 34-30-6-1.
In association with the Silvertips 13th appearance in the WHL Playoffs in 13 seasons, the #BelieveInGreen playoff campaign encourages fans to rally the Silvertips all throughout the playoffs with their support in attendance at XFINITY Arena, and on each Facebook, Twitter and Instagram account. Additionally, the Silvertips have unveiled an exclusive 2016 Playoffs "Believe In Green" shirt, designed for wear at each playoff game.
Fans can secure their playoff shirt for free by securing a six-game playoff ticket package, starting at only $90, or an opening round mini-series package, guaranteeing the same seats for games 1-2.
