Royals' T.J. Kemp Makes Fourth Trip To AHL

Reading, PA - The Reading Royals of the ECHL, affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings of the National Hockey League and the Manchester Monarchs of the American Hockey League, today announced that defenseman T.J. Kemp has been loaned to the Bridgeport Sound Tigers of the AHL. For Kemp, a first year pro from Pickering, Ontario, this marks his fourth trip of the season to the AHL. Kemp, who had stellar four year career at Mercyhurst College, has played in eight AHL games this season with the Peoria Rivermen, the Iowa Stars, and the Milwaukee Admirals. In 60 games this season with the Royals, Kemp has scored 13 goals and added 26 assists (39 points), which places him eleventh in scoring amongst defensemen in the ECHL. The Royals are back in action against the Wheeling Nailers tonight (7:00pm) at the WesBanco Arena in Wheeling, West Virginia. Royals' game day broadcasts can be heard on ESPN Radio 1240am in Ephrata and on the internet at www.royalshockey.com with pre-game beginning 30 minutes before the opening face-off. Streaming video is also available through the Royals' website on a pay per view basis provided by B2 Networks.
