DiLauro Re-called to Barons; Porter & Weaver to Lace 'em Up Tonight

FRESNO, Calif. - The American Hockey League's Cleveland Barons re-called defenseman Ray DiLauro from the Fresno Falcons yesterday. DiLauro appeared in five games for Fresno, making him eligible for inclusion on the Falcons' official post-season roster.

Former Falcons Kris Porter and Jason Weaver were signed today to help the team overcome injuries and call-ups to the AHL. Both members of the Falcons' 2001-02 Taylor Cup Championship club, Porter recorded an assist while playing three games for Fresno earlier this season, and Weaver provided the same type of assistance to the Long Beach Ice Dogs this past weekend and notched a goal and two assists in two games.

The Falcons host the Phoenix RoadRunners tonight and Utah Grizzlies tomorrow at Save Mart Center at 7 p.m. both evenings. The first 1,000 kids 12 & younger at tonight's game will receive a Falcons t-shirt bearing the "C" and #2 of Fresno captain Matt O'Dette courtesy of Affluent Lending, KSEE 24, and Y101. At tomorrow's game, the first 1,000 kids 12 & younger will receive a Falcons t-shirt bearing the "A" and #19 of Fresno assistant captain Shawn Mather courtesy of Allstate Roofing, CBS 47, and KISS Country.
