
Gulls' Goalie Michael Mole Makes 44 Saves In Win

Las Vegas, NV- The Las Vegas Wranglers were defeated 3-1 by the San Diego Gulls in front of 6,467 fans on Friday night at the Orleans Arena. San Diego goalie Michael Mole made 44 saves in the win. San Diego center Steve Hildenbrand scored a goal and added an assist as the Wranglers fell to 26-5-3 at home this season. Wranglers' forward Charles Linglet scored the lone goal for Las Vegas. The Wranglers will play the Phoenix Roadrunners at the US Airways Center on Tuesday night at 7:11 pm.
In the first period, San Diego forward Jesse Bennefield gave the Gulls a 1-0 lead at 15:39. In the second period, Gulls' forward Pierre-Luc Sleigher scored at 11:47 of the period, giving San Diego a 2-0 lead.
In the third period, Charles Linglet scored on the power play at 6:40, bringing the Wranglers within one goal. San Diego forward Steve Hildenbrand scored at 13:31 of the third period to give the Gulls a 3-1 lead.
Las Vegas will play in Phoenix on Tuesday and return home to host Long Beach next Friday and Phoenix next Saturday at 7:05 pm. The first 2,000 fans on Friday, April 7th receive a Buffalo Wild Wings hockey puck.
Playoff tickets are now available for the 2006 Kelly Cup Playoffs. Fans may purchase a strip of tickets that will include every home playoff game for as little as $200.00 per seat. Wranglers season ticket holders and mini-plan holders have the first right of refusal for their seats.
Tickets for all games are on sale now. Fans may purchase seats to all Wranglers home games at any of the following ticket locations: The Orleans Arena Box Office, Coast Casinos' showroom box offices at The Orleans, Gold Coast, South Coast and Suncoast, or at the Galleria Mall guest relations/ticket centers.
