Goals, Goals, Goals: Tonight, marked the second time since the beginning of last season that the Royals and Chiefs have combined for six goals in the first period. The last time this happened was on October 13th, 2017 in Spokane, which saw the Chiefs come out victorious 8-6.

STREAKING: Currently, three Victoria Royals are riding three-game point streaks. Royals' defenceman Scott Walford has now recorded six points (1g-5a) in his last three games. Meanwhile, over the same timeframe, forwards Kody McDonald and Kaid Oliver have tallied four points (2g-2a) and three points (3g), respectively.
