Kennewick, Washington - Tri-City forward Parker AuCoin collected a hat trick, five points and first star honours in a 7-4 victory over the Kootenay ICE at Toyota Center on Friday night.

The Americans also received goals from Krystof Hrabik (x2), Paycen Bjorklund and Nolan Yaremko.

The ICE got goals from Peyton Krebs, Cole Muir, Holden Kodak and Jakin Smallwood. For Kodak, his goal at the 16:33 mark of the opening period was the first of his WHL career. Muir led the way for the ICE with two points (1G, 1A). Goaltender Jesse Makaj stopped 22-of-28 shots in 40 minutes of work, while Curtis Meger blocked 4-of-5 in the final frame.
